The Offerhaus pumping station of Wetterskip Fryslân (=water board) is a large pumping station with three open propeller pumps. Landustrie received the assignment to overhaul two pumps and supply a third, new open propeller pump.
The pumping station was also fitted with a new screen cleaner with three trash-removal racks. The entire electromechanical installation was also delivered new.
As the pumping station had to be fish-friendly, two pumps were fitted with the Fish Track system developed by TAUW. The third pump has a fish repelling system with stroboscopic lights.
This makes fish migration between polder and bay possible without the fish being damaged.
