Landy clarifiers are built as a simple, robust construction in order to transport the sediment along the tank bottom towards the discharge point by means of piping and pumps.

Landy clarifiers can be executed with scum removal devices.
The various types of circular scrapers, chain scrapers and pendant scrapers can be made of several materials.

Construction of the clarifier :

• bridge with walk-way of steel, stainless steel or aluminium
• carriage with drive unit
• for circular scrapers: central pivot and bearing on central column
• bottom scrapers with suspending construction on the bridge

Optional :

• scum removal device
• inlet drum around central column, suspended on the bridge
• 1 or 2 scrapers for eventual sludge collecting gutter in tank centre
• cleaning device for effluent discharge gutter

In order to prevent aerosols the tanks can be executed with special shrouds.

Especially for sludge treatment at sewage and waste water treatment plants Landustrie supplies complete sludge thickening units.

The quantity of sludge which has to be discharged or treated can be reduced considerably.

The sludge thickeners can be applied in either a concrete or steel tank, including bridge construction.

For storage of methane gas Landustrie is able to supply gas holding tanks with dimensions varying from 50 upto 1500 m ³ .

Not only standard units are applied, but gas holding tanks of the bottom- or pressureless type are being supplied as well.

Execution with all kinds of materials is possible.
